Our Faith

Zion is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the largest Lutheran body in North America, with a membership of 5.2 million and more than eleven thousand congregations throughout the United States.

Our Church Accepts

The Scriptures as the inspired Word or God and the authoritative source and norm of teaching and practice, The Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds as true statements of the faith, and The Augsburg Confession and other writings from the Book of Concord, authored by reformers in the 16th century, as valid interpretations of the faith of this church.

Our Church Confesses

The triune God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and The Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.
